Wendy Williams!!!

I was so nervous today because I had never really mingled that much with a celebrity. I'm not going to count being an extra on "Dexter" & "Burn Notice". Anyway, I drove to a restaurant called Fleming's Steakhouse in Coral Gables. Miraculously I arrived there without a GPS. I was to be the photographer for the day and take pictures of all the clients with the LFL girls and Wendy. It was so sweet of the station to have made me my own CBS name tag. I felt special :) When Wendy arrived, everyone was super excited. I could tell in their faces. She came with a friend, her stylist and her husband..who..seemed to have a bit of a short fuse but was okay overall. Wendy, though, was so cordial and fun in person. I took so many pictures including with other people's cameras. Eventually came the dinner in this special room provided for us. The CBS promo and the My33 promo that David slaved over came out amazing! It really pumps you up and truly makes you proud of working for the stations. It's also very persuasive in having you watch My33. Hence the purpose of a promo well done. There was even a special funny short film edited and directed by Ardis that was surrounded around "The Office". HILARIOUS! A scene from the office was chosen and it seemed as if Michael was speaking to CBS4 workers. It was even shot in the fast zoom shots of the show. Wendy was loving it. After that we had a great lunch that took awfully long to come out, unfortunately. They had me, Ardis and two other CBS 4 clients (boss lady included) at a table outside of the main room. We called it the kiddie table. There I got to bond with boss lady as well as Joe the camera man. I just asked them about how they got into their careers and such. Pretty interesting. I learned a lot from each and every one of them. I finally got my picture with Wendy after she was interviewed and went home happy. What a great way to wrap up my internship!
